PEARL Suspended Bass Drum Stand Assembly Instructions -
STBD32, STBD36, & STBD40

  1. Connect middle connection rod to end pieces.
  2. Connect foot rest to end pieces.
  3. Insert frame height bars into bases.
  4. While laying on the floor, connect top and bottom half circle rings to tilting mechanisms.
  5. Lay Bass Drum on its side on the floor. Lay the full suspension ring over the bass drum - BD and ring are laying on the floor.
  6. Attach top and bottom rubber bands parallel to suspension ring.
  7. Attach bottom cross rubber bands (2 on each bottom side). Hook on suspension ring will connect with the two outer shell BD hooks.
  8. Once all rubber bands connect BD to suspension ring, pick up complete unit and insert into frame height bars.
  9. Tighten all wing screws. Similarly, periodically, check wing screws are tight...
  10. Tilting Adjustment: Loosen L handle counter clockwise, tilt drum to desired angle, and tighten L handle.
Do not tighten the L handle too tight. It does not require very much pressure to hold drum at a tilt.
  11. Lock casters before playing.
  12. Enjoy your new instrument!
